Early in the morning, the dollar was selling for R$ 5.5747, up 0.84%. Its highest level to date is R$ 5.5822, and the trend is for it to close with another record.
Yesterday, the dollar also closed sharply higher at R$ 5.5285, a new nominal closing high. However, the day's high during trading reached R$ 5.5300. However, over the month, the currency has accumulated a gain of R$ 6.401. Year-to-date, the appreciation is R$ 37.871.
Political crisis with Moro and currency appreciation.
The Central Bank, in an official statement, announced auctions for this Friday of dollar lines and foreign exchange swap contracts for the rollover of maturities in both instruments, with a total offer of US$1.5 billion.
