Are we alone? What are UFOs? Well, everything seems to indicate that we are not! This week, the United States Department of Defense declassified three recordings of “unexplained aerial phenomena.”

As reported by CNN in the United States, the Pentagon stated that the aim of the measure is to “dispel any public doubts” about the origin of these images, which were already circulating on the internet.

It is worth noting that the videos had already been leaked on two occasions, in 2007 and 2017.

And another detail is that two of these videos had already been released by the American newspaper The New York Times, and the third, by an organization co-founded by the former singer of the band Blink-182, Tom DeLonge, to study UFOs (unidentified flying objects) and paranormal phenomena.

The internet went crazy, so after the material became public, several people claimed that the unidentified flying objects were extraterrestrial.

What appears in UFO videos?

Let's get the facts straight: a video from 2004 was recorded by two Navy fighter pilots and shows a circular object moving near the water in the Pacific Ocean, about 160 km from the American coast.

One of the US pilots, David Fravor, reported that the object was “accelerating at a speed I had never seen before.”

The other two videos are from 2015, and show objects moving through the air, one of them spinning.

“Look at that, man! It’s spinning!” says one of the pilots.

Science and the Pentagon have no rational explanation for the event, the conclusions of their investigation, or details of what exactly is happening in the videos. The released videos can be downloaded on this official website, on the FLIR, GOFAST and GIMBAL links.

Therefore, in a statement, the body stated:

“After careful review, the department has determined that the authorized release of these videos does not reveal any sensitive systems or capabilities and does not impact investigations of incursions into military airspace by unidentified aerial phenomena.”

The information as released by the Pentagon is as follows: “the aerial phenomena observed in the videos remain classified as 'unidentified'”.

So, what did you think? Amazing, isn't it?
