According to the G1 news portal this week, between last Saturday (4) and Sunday (5), 44 new cases were registered by the State Health Department (Sesa). Deaths were registered in Campo Mourão and Santa Fé.

Coronavirus deaths in Paraná - important considerations

The deaths recorded in this Sunday's bulletin are of a 59-year-old man and an 84-year-old woman, who lived in Campo Mourão, in the central-west region of the state.

Another important detail was that the department also confirmed the death of a 79-year-old patient who lived in Santa Fé but was hospitalized in Maringá, in the northern region. According to Sesa, the woman died this Sunday.

According to information published by the secretariat, 77 patients who tested positive for coronavirus are hospitalized, 47 of whom are in Intensive Care Units (ICU).
