The Snack Grant

In addition to the R$$50.00 grant for families, R$$20 is a donation from the Public Prosecutor's Office of Minas Gerais. The donation is for very poor families, but some are not included in the program and need assistance. Therefore, the grant is a request for business owners who can help with donations to these families.

Carlos Eduardo Amaral, Secretary of State for Health, officially announced R$1,200 in aid to Indigenous communities in the state's municipality at a meeting. According to data collected by Funai, there are 30,000 Indigenous people in Minas Gerais.

This benefit is crucial to ensuring families have the basics. While many families rely on institutions, many of these children's parents work informally, and their income doesn't cover the family's basic needs.

The resource demonstrates that nutrition for children and students is universal; every child needs school meals. Although many children only eat at school, the government contributes in some way to ensuring they receive assistance. After all, this voucher will greatly help families in need during this time of crisis.
