What is the Popular CNH?
THE Popular CNH is a program aimed at those who are already enrolled in social programs of Federal Government, like the Family Allowance and are registered with the Single Registry, can participate and compete for a place to obtain a national driver's license for free.
How to apply for CNH Popular?
THE Popular CNH Program is carried out by DMV of each region and therefore, it is necessary to check in the Traffic Department of your state when vacancies are open.
In some Brazilian states, applications opened in March 2021, but this date may change in each region. For example, in March, around 5,000 vacancies were opened in the Federal District and interested parties must register on the service portal of the DMV-DF and comply with certain requirements.
Some of the requirements needed to participate in this program are to have a maximum income of up to two minimum wages, to be participating in some social program Federal Government, being a small farmer, being unemployed for more than a year or being part of a low-income family.
