Some banks are deciding to extend debt maturities, as are the country's five largest banks. Therefore, according to reports, at banks like Banrisul, for example, the extension will be extended within the next 60 days.
Banrisul will respond to requests for extensions on debt maturities from individual customers and micro and small businesses for current contracts that are up to date and limited to the amounts already used.
In fact, what is also happening, and what is worth highlighting here, is that capitalism is being put to the test of a beginning of loss of control, something unthinkable before.

Debt maturity extension for 60 days.
For most banks that have decided to adopt this measure, payment can be made in up to four installments, with a 60-day grace period, which will total a period of 180 days.
Why are they doing this? The bank is known to have justified the measure as a sign of solidarity during the difficult times Brazil and Rio Grande do Sul are facing. The aim is to help maintain people's purchasing power, employment, and income, thus keeping the economy afloat.
But it's not all roses, is it? Some options remain the same at most banks:
For example, the types of loans not covered by the measure are credit cards and overdrafts, which have a specific renegotiation policy, and payroll loans.
Finally, interested parties who need extra time simply need to contact the agency network to request the new renegotiation conditions.
Which major banks are changing their routines?
In addition to Banrisul, Caixa Econômica also announced changes, Itáu has also closed its doors, Bradesco, Banco do Brasil, the main banks have already changed their routines.
