According to the G1 website, São Paulo has already had 20 deaths caused by the novel coronavirus. The website also states that the samples analyzed came from 201 bodies awaiting tests to determine the cause of death. Of these, 93 have already been diagnosed, and 20 of them tested positive for COVID-19.

This week alone, the São Paulo State Health Department confirmed 20 more deaths from the coronavirus on Thursday night (2). The department reported that the tests were carried out by a task force of the department to diagnose the 201 deaths considered suspicious that were on the waiting list at the Adolfo Lutz Institute.
Consequence of the new coronavirus in São Paulo
According to this week's G1 report, of the 201 samples, 93 have already been diagnosed, and 20 of them were considered positive for Covid-19. The processing of the remaining samples is in the final stages, and the results will be released by the end of today. These results will be communicated to the reporting units and municipalities.
About deaths in São Paulo due to Coronavirus
However, deaths are concentrated in 21 cities, five of which recorded their first deaths: São Vicente and Praia Grande, in Baixada Santista, and Francisco Morato, Itaquaquecetuba, and Arujá, in Greater São Paulo.
