As reported this week in all the country's main newspapers, Bolsonaro supporters, and also protesters in favor of Sergio Moro, have been gathered in front of the Federal Police Headquarters in Curitiba since early Saturday morning.

As expected, in these demonstrations in the middle of a pandemic, there was some confusion between the two groups, with shouting and crowding, but the Military Police (PM) contained the situation. They were waving flags, playing a sound truck and shouting slogans.

As reported by the press, former judge and former minister Sergio Moro is expected to testify to the delegates this Saturday, regarding accusations that President Bolsonaro tried to interfere in the work of the PF and in investigations related to family members.

All charges were filed when he announced his departure from the government, on March 24th.

Moro will have to prove his accusations against the president

It is known that the investigation against the president was authorized by the Supreme Federal Court (STF) and will investigate whether Moro's accusations are true. If they are not, the former minister could be held accountable in court for false accusation and crimes against the honor of the head of state.

But will this amount to anything?

It is difficult to answer at this moment, because the moment is still one of uncertainty, it is not known whether this evidence from former minister Moro is really true and reliable.

The testimony against Bolsonaro was determined by Minister Celso de Mello, the case's rapporteur, and will be collected in person by PF delegates and accompanied by prosecutors who had authorization from Minister Mello.

Who are they: João Paulo Lordelo Guimarães Tavares, Antonio Morimoto and Hebert Reis Mesquita.

According to information from RPC, Moro will be heard in a large room with the recommended distance due to the coronavirus and with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

We will need to wait to see what this statement will be like, whether it will be released immediately to the press or not.
