For those who were worried about receiving emergency aid from the Federal Government, the news will certainly bring some relief, after intense tension in the approval and sensation of the law, informal workers will finally be able to request the 600 reais of support.
According to the rules published by Caixa Econômica Federal, informal workers, unemployed people, MEIs and individual INSS contributors who meet the average income requirement will be entitled to the benefit, which will be paid for up to three months.
According to the official press publication, as expected, the Federal Savings Bank made available this Tuesday (7) the website and application through which informal workers, self-employed workers, unemployed workers and MEIs can request emergency aid of R$ 600.

Government emergency aid – application
Will any worker receive government assistance? That's not exactly the case, understand? The application should be used by workers who are Individual Microentrepreneurs (MEIs), informal workers without registration and individual contributors to the INSS.
Therefore, those who already receive Bolsa Família, or who are registered in the Single Registry, do not need to register through the app. Payment will be made automatically. (Click here to see how to find out if you are.
Workers who do not have access to the internet
They can register at Caixa branches or at lottery houses closest to their home.

However, it is worth mentioning that it will not be possible to register by phone, only to ask questions. On Tuesday morning, G1 tried to contact the company, but the system was unavailable.
You will need to meet the conditions below:
You must be the owner of a legal entity (Individual Micro Entrepreneur, or MEI);
Must be registered in the Single Registry (CadÚnico) for Federal Government Social Programs by March 20th;
meet the average income requirement (monthly income of up to half the minimum wage per person, and up to 3 minimum wages per family) by March 20, 2020;
Finally, be an individual or optional contributor to the General Social Security Regime.
In addition, all workers must:
Be at least 18 years old;
Monthly income of up to half the minimum wage per person (R$ 522.50);
It will also be necessary to have a monthly income of up to 3 minimum wages (R$ 3,135) per family;
not having received taxable income above R$28,559.70 in 2018.
- Government emergency aid – Single mothers, be careful
Caixa informed that a housewife who is a mother and head of the family, and meets the other criteria, will be able to receive R$1,200 (two installments) per month.
Finally, family income will be considered for all income earned by all members living in the same residence, but of course, except for the Bolsa Família money.
