How does the 2021 Emergency Aid work?
According to Provisional Measure 1,039/2021, only one person from each registered family will be able to receive the Emergency Aid in 2021. The benefit portion will be divided as follows: part will be for female heads of households with a value of approximately R$ 375.00.
For people who are part of low-income families and who live alone, they will be able to receive around R$150.00. And for those who work as microentrepreneurs, freelancers and informal workers, they will be able to receive an amount of R$250.00.
However, to receive the 2021 Emergency Aid You must meet certain requirements. For example, you must be over 18 years old, not have a formal job, and have a family income of no more than half the minimum wage, and you must not have any family member who earns more than three minimum wages.
