This Sunday, on Army Day, Bolsonaro spoke to protesters who participated in a demonstration in Brasília that, among other causes, defended illegal measures, such as military intervention, the end of the Supreme Court and the end of social isolation.
Many authorities from different parts of Brazil have expressed their outrage, as as far as we know, there is no definitive cure for the new coronavirus, therefore, social isolation must be followed.
But the president insists that the new coronavirus is not as dangerous as people think, even though many people have died over the past few days, all the deaths that have occurred are still not a cause for concern for him and his team, but what can be done?
The pro-Bolsonaro demonstration is causing controversy
Bolsonaro's earlier speech took place in front of the Army Headquarters in Brasília. The Brazilian "head" of state spoke to dozens of supporters who gathered outside the headquarters, a move that contradicts World Health Organization (WHO) guidelines and is part of the ongoing efforts to combat COVID-19.

"Everyone in Brazil must understand that they are subject to the will of the Brazilian people. I'm sure we all swore to one day give our lives for our country. And we will do whatever we can to change Brazil's destiny. Enough of the old politics."
Finally, Bolsonaro also stated, in his speech, that protesters can count on him “to do everything necessary so that we can maintain our democracy and guarantee what is most sacred among us, which is our freedom.
