Bolsonaro appeals to the Supreme Court to appoint Carlos' friend as head of the Federal Police

Everything indicates that now the current president of the republic Bolsonaro will have to make a big maneuver to be able to appoint his nominees to the federal police.

The departure of former Justice Minister Sergio Moro caused real chaos within the government. This was due to the simple fact that Moro did not leave in a discreet manner, as did former Minister Mandetta, who simply thanked the people for the time he had worked, in a very civil manner.

Of course, Moro was very cordial upon his departure, that is, he used technical words, and at the same time he communicated with his fans, because he understood that this would be necessary, but what is Bolsonaro's situation now?

Moro resigned and more than that: he launched a series of accusations against the president in a very clear, objective manner. There is no doubt that the government has a very hot case on its hands.

Bolsonaro recorre ao STF para nomear amigo de Carlos na chefia da PF

Now, Bolsonaro will have to appeal to the STF to obtain the appointment to the PF

According to this week's publication in Folha, Jair Bolsonaro ( still without any party) fears a flood of lawsuits against the appointment of Alexandre Ramagem to the post of director general of the Federal Police. Over the weekend, Bolsonaro decided to anticipate potential lawsuits, Moro stuck him in a complicated situation.

According to information from palace advisors, the president's aides made informal consultations with ministers of the STF (Supreme Federal Court) about the risk of the nomination being blocked.

No one has any doubt that Ramagem is a very close friend of the Bolsonaro family and a friend of councilman Carlos Bolsonaro (Republicanos-RJ), the president's second son.

Carlos has already begun to be investigated by the Federal Police, as we have seen in the latest news, as one of the main architects of a criminal scheme to spread fake news. His father wants Ramagem to head the corporation that is investigating his own son's conduct.

The current director-general of Abin (Brazilian Intelligence Agency), Ramagem was head of Bolsonaro's security in 2018, then a candidate for the Presidency of the Republic, when he approached Carlos.
