Those who believed that the coronavirus was just a minor problem are now realizing that the problem is only taking on larger proportions. Before I started writing this article, I was reading about the first news about the coronavirus in Brazil.
The main portals in Brazil, such as G1 Notícias, Correio Braziliense, UOL, Terra, etc., were already reporting the news that was spreading throughout the world. The WHO, in turn, took a long time to declare it a pandemic, and this only came occur on March 11th.
During this period, we already had confirmed cases in Brazil, yes, there were few cases, but they were already here in the country, and former minister Mandetta was already warning civil society about a serious problem that was plaguing the country, however, many doubted, and still doubt, even with the high number of deaths.

According to the official announcement by the Ministry of Health, Brazil registered 189 new deaths due to Covid-19 in the last 24 hours, an increase of 4.7%, according to data released by the Ministry of Health this Sunday (26). In total, there are 4,205 deaths from the new coronavirus in the country.
To the surprise of many, the number fell back below 200 new deaths after days of consecutive increases. However, so far, the record since the beginning of the pandemic was broken on Thursday (23), with 407 deaths. The figures for Friday and Saturday showed more than 300 deaths each.
Official bulletins indicate that this Sunday, Brazil surpassed the mark of 60 thousand confirmed cases - there are 61,888 in total. The previous day there were 58,509, an increase of 5.8%.
