Since last Monday night, supporters have been trending on Twitter calling for Rodrigo Maia's removal. They are unhappy with the Chamber of Deputies' stance since he spoke out against Bolsonaro's actions.
But can anyone criticize Bolsonaro without being automatically canceled? We don't have that answer; we always clarify something important here when we report on any political news:

Is Rodrigo Maia plotting a coup against Bolsonaro?
Roberto Jefferson, a former pro-government deputy from the PTB-RJ, detailed, when he was interviewed on the program Os Pingos Nos Is, on Jovem Pan, that there is a coup being plotted against the president of the Chamber of Deputies, and the one at the forefront is Rodrigo Maia.
During a livestream that sparked enormous controversy this Sunday, he said that Maia has already requested an impeachment request from the president of the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB), Felipe Santa Cruz, against the president of the Republic. The request is secret.
Maia's actions become suspicious.
Maia told the left that he would let government measures expire” to gain support for a future impeachment request.
In the PTB president's assessment, "Maia's actions prove everything." He added that the impeachment request will happen "when they understand that the people are taking to the streets against Bolsonaro."
Without concrete evidence, Roberto Jefferson, in exchange for the impeachment request, Maia would gain the possibility of reelection in the Chamber, which is currently prohibited.
"If we vote on PEC 101, by former congressman Benedito de Lira, which states that reelection to the Chamber of Deputies and the Senate is possible within the same legislation, it is because the change is being made," was his assessment.
Jefferson also told the program that the text of Constitutional Amendment Proposal 101 has already returned to the House. Commenting on his views on corruption, the former congressman—convicted of passive bribery and money laundering—stated that Congress "has received an antiviral boost from new representatives who are tackling the virus of corruption."
