No one imagined that the new coronavirus would disrupt international negotiations so much, right? Well, this morning, the shares of some large companies on the market suffered major drops, but it's not the end!
According to the portal the Value of this last week of April. Shares of Brazilian aircraft manufacturer Embraer fell 14%, to R$ 7.12, at the opening of the Brazilian Stock Exchange this Monday (27), after the agreement to purchase the civil aviation area by Boeing was canceled on Saturday (25).
We know that the sharp drop in just a few minutes of trading led to the stock's trading being halted, in the so-called stock auction, when buy and sell orders are suspended for five minutes. The auction can be triggered at different times during the trading session, depending on the stock's volatility.
Upon resumption of trading, the company's shares fell 12.8%, to R$ 7.22. The Ibovespa rose 1.8%, to 76 thousand points, around 10:40 am. The dollar fell 0.4%, to R$ 5.64.

Coronavirus Embraer plummets 14%
Due to the new and terrible coronavirus pandemic and the impact of Boeing's 737 MAX crisis, Embraer has depreciated 63.4% to date, going from a market value of R$15 billion to R$5.3 billion.
The Guide Investimentos report clarified that
“For the Brazilian company, the situation reinforces our negative view, since aircraft orders continue to be below expectations and the joint venture with Boeing could bring some financial relief to the company. Therefore, we do not rule out the possibility of the company needing to capitalize to withstand the adverse period,”
