While 378 beds are already available, the São Paulo city government has promised 933 ICU beds. Recent surveys show that many people in São Paulo are adhering to social isolation measures to contain the coronavirus, Governor João Doria (PSDB) announced on Monday. Official data compiled by the state in partnership with mobile phone operators showed that the isolation rate rose from 471 to 591, but many are still not complying.
