Humanity seems to be living a real nightmare with the new coronavirus, isn't it? We have no other subject to talk about than this, because it is a matter of preserving life.
Of course our portal Digital Insurance brings you other relevant information, such as financial education, loans, credit cards, and much more. However, we always need to bring you news about what is happening.
And that's why we're going to talk about the situation in Brazil today (April 30) regarding the updated number of deaths from coronavirus. Check out the country's general picture below.
Unfortunately, Brazil is already among the countries in the world where the pace of expansion of the pandemic is most worrying and which consequently has a greater likelihood of escalating deaths.

Number of deaths in Brazil is alarming
The big concern now is that in Brazil, cases are doubling in less time than Italy, Spain and the United Kingdom. It is known that among the Brazilian states, Maranhão is the one that records the same rate of deaths as the United States. In other states such as Amazonas, Rondônia, Pará, Paraíba, Pernambuco and Alagoas, the record of new cases is equivalent to that of Italy.
Fiocruz experts clarified that these deaths are a consequence of some measures that were taken several weeks ago, of relaxation and some of behavioral lapses by people who stopped taking some precautions.
They also found that the virus was present in all Brazilian states and that it was spreading rapidly through smaller cities. The higher the number of COVID-19 cases in small cities, the greater the risk of a lack of care where the health infrastructure is poor or non-existent, and the greater the migration of patients to larger cities, where there is already a shortage of beds in health units.
The situation in Brazil is worrying!
The Fiocruz institute also explained that the new coronavirus is already present in almost 801,000 municipalities with between 50,000 and 100,000 inhabitants. In smaller municipalities, community circulation is already visible and is a cause for concern.
“It is necessary to take some specific measures in these smaller cities: screening, rapid service, testing.”
Ultimately, we must follow the WHO guidelines and do our part.
