The executive vice president of the Tocantinense Sanitation Agency, Davi Goveia Júnior, carried out an inspection and test on the water supply system with wells.
According to the department, it was installed to serve the population of the Entre Serras and North South, in the municipality of Lajeado.
So much so that a Deep Tubular Well was drilled on site, a treatment pumping system was installed, and a water supply network was built.

The investment for the construction of the supply system according to the Tocantis Sanitation Agency, now has an estimated value of R$1,401,900, benefiting families.
According to the vice president, the well will serve more than 100 families in Lajeado, the new well and the new treatment and pumping systems will help.
In this way, they carry out the same work in the northern region, where the program will benefit agrarian reform settlements with the drilling of deep tubular wells.
In fact, with help from the State Government, through the ATS, they signed three agreements with the Ministry of National Integration, through the Water for All program.
Initially, 11,350 cisterns were built by 2014, and the other, to complement the service provided to family farming, was the construction of 117 dams in communities.
Improvements
Similarly, several residents of Tocantínia have been without water in the city for some time. The instability in the service has even disrupted the daily lives of the population.
Residents also complained about the neglect of the Tocantinense Sanitation Agency (ATS), which provides water and sewage treatment services in the municipality.
In the same way, the lack of water interfered with the most common daily tasks, such as bathing and even cooking.
Since water production in municipalities guarantees a constant and efficient supply, it also increases the efficiency of pumps, thus reducing operational energy costs.
Without a doubt, the ATS team, by carrying out this service, improved the water supply in the city by approximately 30%, reducing consumption.
