The City of Aparecida, through the Department of Economic Development, will hold workshops, seminars and exhibition and sale of artisanal products on March 12 and 13, from 2 pm to 10 pm, as part of the “Entrepreneurship Week” program in the municipality.
Therefore, the event will be held on the 2nd floor of Aparecida Shopping, in the Serra Dourada sector, and will have a partnership with the Brazilian Support Service for Micro and Small Businesses (Sebrae Goiás), the Aparecida Shopkeepers' Association (CDL) and the Commercial and Industrial Association of Aparecida de Goiânia (Aciag).
Therefore, the objective is to train entrepreneurs by giving lectures on business and obligations of the microentrepreneur individual, guidance and assistance on credit lines, discussing issues on market trends, in addition to promoting the municipality's business culture.
“Entrepreneurship Week will have many activities with the aim of helping entrepreneurs from Aparecida to boost their businesses, reach new heights and generate results, employment and income in our city,” highlighted acting mayor Veter Martins.
However, two days of programming will also offer free in-person assistance to MEI (formalization, cancellation, declaration, printing of DAS, etc.), issuance of Digital Certification and SPC/SERASA consultation. Information by phone 3545-2300 / 3248-7231.
Microentrepreneur
Therefore, the number of individual microentrepreneurs (MEI) in Aparecida increased between 2018 and last year. Therefore, the Entrepreneur Portal shows that in 2018 the number of MEIs was 19,248. With the formalization of 5.2 thousand new MEIs in 2019, the number rose to 24,524 microentrepreneurs in the city.
Because the increase of 27.4% occurred practically throughout the entire municipality – which established its economic vocation in industrialization and today generates more than 120 thousand jobs.
Until now, only Casa do Empreendedor, located in the Cidade Livre sector, was responsible for formalizing 1,207 new MEIs last year. In 2018, there were only 745 formalizations. The three activities that stood out the most were the provision of services in the area of civil construction, hairdressing, beverage distributors and grocery stores.
Legislation
Above all, Entrepreneurship Week was established by Municipal Law No. 3,174, of April 11, 2014, and became part of the Official Calendar of Events of the Municipality of Aparecida, to be celebrated in the second week of March each year.
Thus, although the law determines the holding of seminars, workshops, lectures and other events that promote and value the dissemination of entrepreneurship, it also includes the appreciation of entities dedicated to promoting the economy.
